 Slept well. It's my birthday. I'm now 78 years old.... Hard to believe. My short term memory seems to be suffering but other than that I'm in pretty good shape. 

We will serve in the Bishops Storehouse this afternoon. I'm anticipating it won't be as busy as it was during the holidays many are learning of this great resource and with the economy being as bad as it is, I'm not going to be surprised if we keep being busy. Mostly the Bishops Storehouse is a great blessing to those who need food and those of us who enjoy serving there.

The ScripturePlus app seems remarkably comprehensive. It was during my study of the New Testament and continues to seem that way as I begin 2024 and my study study of the Book of Mormon. As with many accounts of the Book of Mormon, this one begins with numerous efforts to counter the arguments that have been presented over time that attempt to discredit the Book of Mormon and it's origins. This is not necessary with me because I have no doubt as to the divine authenticity of the Book of Mormon. 

As with the recorded teachings of Jesus Christ found in the Bible, there is no reason to doubt. It all makes sense. To me, arguing against the Book of Mormon is arguing against truth. There is nothing in the Book that doesn't make sense or ring true. 

So, while these first few lessons are interesting, I'm looking forward to getting into the Book itself and the teachings and accounts contained therein.
