We just heard about the airlines crash at Washington DC where a passenger aircraft operated by PSA under contract to American Airlines with 60 passengers and 4 crew members flying from Wichita, Kansas to Reagan international airport collided with an army helicopter with 3 or 4 people on board. It is being reported that there are no survivors. Tragic and sad.
I enjoyed working my weekly shift at the Mt Timpanogos temple yesterday. The temple was very busy which is a good thing.
Our cleaning lady, Angelica, came Tuesday and did a great job cleaning our house. She has been unable to work for us for several weeks due to an injury she suffered but we're glad she's back. She does an extremely thorough job every two weeks and it really makes life better for us.
Come Follow Me
D&C 4:2 Therefore, O ye that embark in the service of God, see that ye serve him with all your heart, might, mind and strength, that ye may stand blameless before God at the last day.
"A few years ago, youth in the Church learned that “when you ‘embark in the service of God,’ you’re joining the greatest journey ever. You’re helping God hasten His work, and it’s a great, joyful, and marvelous experience.” It’s a journey available to all—of any age—and is also a journey that takes us along what our beloved prophet has spoken of as “the covenant path.”
Unfortunately, however, we live in a selfish world where people constantly ask, “What’s in it for me?” instead of asking, “Whom can I help today?” or “How can I better serve the Lord in my calling?” or “Am I giving my all to the Lord?”
