Journal Entry:

This is Palm Sunday - one week until Easter. Until recently it seems that not enough emphasis has been placed on Easter as a reminder of possibly the most important event in the entire history of the world. It seems to have been too easy in the past to gloss over the true meaning of Easter and just emphasize things like Easter Egg Hunts and Easter Baskets. 

I'm really glad that the Church has helped me begin to understand the true impact and importance of what we should be celebrating at this time of the year... The immense sacrifice of our Savior, Jesus Christ, His love for each of us and His part in our eternal lives and eventual return to Heavenly Father as His loved children.
