2018 September 21, Cathy's knee replacement surgery

I’m in a waiting room at Baptist Health, Louisville. Cathy’s right knee replacement has just been completed and I have spoken with her surgeon, Dr. Reid Brown. He reported that the surgery went very well and he expects a full recovery. It will be a minimum of twelve weeks before her other (left) knee can be replaced. That puts us to February 13th. I estimate conservatively that we will be into March, 2019, before we do the second knee but time will tell. *As of 12/6/18, her next knee will be done on February 25, 2019.

I will try to be diligent in reporting additional info as this day moves along (it’s only 9 AM).

On another plane, we visited Bob and Kathy in Kirtland and Hiram, Ohio last weekend. We really enjoyed the visit and I was deeply moved by the Spirit to be in a place where so many revelations occurred. It’s humbling to be where you know the Gospel of Jesus Christ was so greatly restored. We both want to go back. We were also pleased to find out that our friends, Dick and Lorene Neal, will be leaving shortly to also serve in Kirtland historic area.
