Book of Mormon Reading: 1 Nephi 21

Journal Entry 

I worked the early shift at the temple as a substitute today. It was a pleasant variation from my normal Wednesday assignment of dressing room coordinator. I didn't have to start until 0615 and I was assigned to veils and Initiatories. An enjoyable day. 

Dennis Gauger and his wife, Katy, canceled our lunch date because Dennis has a new fracture in his foot. Poor guy is having a tough go. I hope he heals up quickly.

Mosiah 2: 41 And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness. This is one of the reasons I enjoy the Book of Mormon so much. It teaches gospel principles so clearly.
