Journal Entry

I just noticed that I didn't write anything yesterday. Things are quiet in my life these days so there's not much to "Journal" about. I try to keep my Come Follow Me progress up to date. We went to church together yesterday and stayed home other than that. Church this year starts at 1330. So that kind of breaks up the day. I have choir practice at 1100 so Sundays are truly a day of rest. That means I have no excuse for not studying/reading among other things. I'll try to do better.

Today there is little planned. Cathy has some things she'd like to do including an appointment with her eyes doctor so I'll just spend time with her.

I might get some front garden work in but the weather forecast is iffy.

Come Follow Me

D&C 45:4 Saying: Father, behold the sufferings and death of him who did no sin, in whom thou wast well pleased; behold the blood of thy Son which was shed, the blood of him whom thou gavest that thyself might be glorified;

5 Wherefore, Father, spare these my brethren that believe on my name, that they may come unto me and have everlasting life.

"Jesus Christ is a God of love, a God of hope, a God of healing, a God who wants to bless us and help us be clean...That is what He wanted in Gethsemane when He faced humanly incomprehensible pain during the agony of paying the price of sin. That is what He wants now when He pleads on our behalf before the Father...

He can heal us and lift us up because He has the ability to do it."

Elder Walter F. González of The Seventy, October 2019
