Journal Entry 

Kevin and Becky got married yesterday in La Jolla, Ca.

I'm very happy for both of them. Kevin's previous marriage was not ideal in many ways and I don't want to dwell on that. It's over but they had four children who aren't doing very well for various reasons.

Becky has five children who are still pretty young and we shall see how they do. They will mostly be part of Kevin and Becky's family but they have a father as well so that's something that the future will decide. 

I am going to put Becky and her five children in our family tree. I've met them all and think the world of them especially now that they are officially Kevin's step children. I would love for them to be considered part of our family as they continue to grow and progress in life.

D&C 133:3 For he shall make bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of their God.

"Now…“these are [your] days” in the history of the Church. Mark well what kind of days they will be, days when, with special visibility, the Lord will “make bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations.” God will also “hasten” His work. He will also “shorten” the last days “for the elect’s sake;” hence, there will be a compression of events. Furthermore, “all things shall be in commotion.” Only those in the process of becoming the men and women of Christ will be able to keep their spiritual balance…may we “walk by faith” and, if necessary, even on our knees!"
