Journal Entry

We got a bill in the mail requesting immediate payment of over $5,000 for my medical treatment after I got out of the hospital in September. Basically my daily IVs that gave me my antibiotics for four weeks. So we spent most of the day talking to people from Intermountain Health Home Services, Medicare and LAPRA, my LAPD insurance provider. It looks like we got it solved but it took most of the day. Intermountain Health is going through some growing pains financially and I hope they start getting things right.

Come Follow Me

D&C 128:15 And now, my dearly beloved brethren and sisters, let me assure you that these are principles in relation to the dead and the living that cannot be lightly passed over, as pertaining to our salvation. For their salvation is necessary and essential to our salvation, as Paul says concerning the fathers—that they without us cannot be made perfect—neither can we without our dead be made perfect.

"…The Lord gives us divine opportunity to become more like Him as we offer proxy saving temple ordinances others need but cannot do for themselves. We become more complete and perfected as we become “saviours … on mount Zion.” As we serve others, the Holy Spirit of Promise can ratify the ordinances and sanctify both giver and receiver. Both giver and receiver can make and deepen transforming covenants, over time receiving the blessings promised Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob."

Elder Gerrit W. Gong, Apostle
