Journal Entry:

We drove by the Provo Temple site yesterday morning and as you can see from the photo here the old building is almost completely demolished. There is, in my mind, a sense of some urgency since there were workers engaged there on a Saturday.

I sense that church leaders want the new Rock Canyon Provo Temple to be completed on this site as soon as possible partly because of its location across the street  (900 North) from the Missionary Training Center.

Later we drove up Provo Canyon and walked on the bike and pedestrian path from Bridal Veil Falls up towards Vivian Park and back. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed the walk.
