Journal Entry

I am to be at the hospital at 0515 this morning. Cathy, of course, will sort of cheerfully accompany me. The good thing is that I suppose my procedure will be among the first lobes of the day. But, I'm told, I will still need to spend at least tonight in the hospital. With any kind of luck that will be all and I will be able to come home tomorrow. We will see.

Yesterday, Kevin did some very useful things to our yard. He fixed up our side path by cleaning up the edges and other dilapidated features. I'll try to remember to write more about that later and add a photo or two.

We tried to plant the seed of using Ozempic with Jake. That really helped me when I started taking Mounjaro, and when that became hard to get, Ozempic, for my diabetes. Mounjaro and Ozempic are also very effective with helping people lose weight - mainly by reducing appetites. I'm back on Mounjaro now but Ozempic seems to be more readily available right now... Especially for weight loss purposes.

Come Follow Me

Alma 11: 37 And I say unto you again that he cannot save them in their sins; for I cannot deny his word, and he hath said that no unclean thing can inherit the kingdom of heaven; therefore, how can ye be saved, except ye inherit the kingdom of heaven? Therefore, ye cannot be saved in your sins.

"God will always love us, but He cannot save us in our sins. Remember the words of Amulek to Zeezrom that the Savior would not save His people in their sins but from their sins, the reason being that with sin we are unclean and “no unclean thing can inherit the kingdom of heaven” or dwell in God’s presence.

God’s love is infinite and it will endure forever, but what it means for each of us depends on how we respond to His love."

Elder D. Todd Christofferson Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, October 2016
