Journal Entry
I finally got my opportunity to serve a full shift at the Bishops Storehouse yesterday and enjoyed it a lot. Sister Haynie was not feeling well s and so I did the produce ordering and closed down the building at the end of the day. I also got to help several people fill their orders.
We got a nice walk in up in Provo Canyon in the morning. I finished the day with over 8000 steps.
Today I'm planning on serving in the temple and really looking forward to that.
Come Follow Me
Alma 56: 47 Now they never had fought, yet they did not fear death; and they did think more upon the liberty of their fathers than they did upon their lives; yea, they had been taught by their mothers, that if they did not doubt, God would deliver them.
48 And they rehearsed unto me the words of their mothers, saying: We do not doubt our mothers knew it.
"These faithful young men paid tribute to their mothers. They said, “Our mothers knew it.”
…The responsibility mothers have today has never required more vigilance. More than at any time in the history of the world, we need mothers who know. Children are being born into a world where they “wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."" However, mothers need not fear. When mothers know who they are and who God is and have made covenants with Him, they will have great power and influence for good on their children."
