We were able to participate in the 0630 Endowment session yesterday morning as planned. I note that our session started on time at 0630 and this week we were out the door and back to our car at 0810. There were at least 80 patrons in our session. The new Endowment session being so much less time consuming might be one of the reasons that the sessions are so crowded. I know many members who opted for Initiatory or Sealing sessions in the past in order to avoid the time needed for Endowment Sessions. Our plan is to go every Saturday morning. It works well for us.

Trials can teach us that faith in God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ is the source of inner strength. President David O. McKay (1873-1970) recounted the testimony of one of the survivors of the ill-fated Martin handcart company, who said: “We suffered beyond anything you can imagine and many died of exposure and starvation, but … [we] came through with the absolute knowledge that God lives for we became acquainted with Him in our extremities.”
