Not doing much other than getting ready to drive to Scottsdale on Monday. We got to walk some and that's almost always enjoyable and useful.
Today is General Conference and I am anticipating watching that. I record all the sessions for future viewing if needed. After about two or three days everything is available on-line. Modern technology is a wonderful blessing. President Nelson who is now 100 years old is reportedly planning on being present at already one session and addressing the membership. He is amazing!
Some people argue that the Church should be run by a younger president but my first thought about that is that the Church is actually and realistically run by Jesus Christ. I see evidence every day that the Church is being run very effectively all over the world. I, of course, serve on a weekly basis in the Lindon Bishop's Storehouse and the Mt Timpanogos Temple and see numerous evidences of just how well run the church is. I'm grateful for my testimony and the opportunities I have to serve.

3 Nephi 15
Jesus announces that the law of Moses is fulfilled in Him—The Nephites are the other sheep of whom He spoke in Jerusalem—Because of iniquity, the Lord’s people in Jerusalem do not know of the scattered sheep of Israel. About A.D. 34.
1 And now it came to pass that when Jesus had ended these sayings he cast his eyes round about on the multitude, and said unto them: Behold, ye have heard the things which I taught before I ascended to my Father; therefore, whoso remembereth these sayings of mine and doeth them, him will I raise up at the last day.
9 Behold, I am the law, and the light. Look unto me, and endure to the end, and ye shall live; for unto him that endureth to the end will I give eternal life.
"Ultimately a great portion of the Israelites rejected His message, even going so far as to accuse the Savior—He who gave the law and declared that He was “the law, and the light”—of breaking it. Yet Jesus in His Sermon on the Mount, speaking on the law of Moses, declared, “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” Then the Savior, through His eternal Atonement, ended the codes, regulations, and ceremonial practices observed by the people of Israel at that time. His final sacrifice led the shift from sacrificial burnt offerings to our rendering of “a broken heart and a contrite spirit,” from the ordinance of sacrifice to the ordinance of sacrament."
Sister Tracy Y. Browning, Second Counselor in the Primary General Presidency, October2022
"Enduring to the end is a process filling every minute of our life, every hour, every day, from sunrise to sunrise. It is accomplished through personal discipline following the commandments of God."
Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
