Journal Entry

Looks like today is going to be beautiful weather. That will be nice and we have nothing scheduled. Hopefully I can get some work done on our front garden.

Blake's condition seems to be deteriorating. We get daily reports and it's hard to not think that he might just stop living. We basically get daily reports that I have put in my "Blake 2025" folder in Gmail.

I know that Kevin is suffering because of many factors in his life. Primarily Blake. And I pray for him often and hope for improvement in his complicated life. One thing is certain... He's a good man and should come through all of this turmoil in a good way.

Come Follow Me

D&C 45:26 And in that day shall be heard of wars and rumors of wars, and the whole earth shall be in commotion, and men’s hearts shall fail them, and they shall say that Christ delayeth his coming until the end of the earth.

"From hurricanes and floods to heat waves and droughts, from wildfires and earthquakes to wars and devastating diseases, it seems “the whole earth [is] in commotion.”

Millions of people have been displaced, and countless lives have been disrupted by these challenges. Contention in families and communities as well as inner struggles with fear, doubt, and unfulfilled expectations also leave us in turmoil…We wonder, how do I find joy despite the difficulties of mortal life?

…Lasting joy is found in focusing on our Savior, Jesus Christ, and living the gospel as demonstrated and taught by Him. The more we learn about, have faith in, and emulate Jesus Christ, the more we come to understand that He is the source of all healing, peace, and eternal progress."
