Journal Entry
I just noticed that I didn't complete this yesterday and I can't recall why. Actually, I think I did but it didn't take for some reason.
I was going to play pickleball but the seminary students who met in the stake center needed to have access to the cultural hall so we gave it up. We had it reserved but figured that the seminary kids were more important than four aging high priests playing pickleball. Duh. Wasn't difficult.
Instead I went to breakfast with Jake and then did a little grocery shopping. Spent the rest of the day with Cathy. She's still hurting and can't get around very well.
Come Follow Me
2 Nephi 25:13 Behold, they will crucify him; and after he is laid in a sepulchre for the space of three days he shall rise from the dead, with healing in his wings; and all those who shall believe on his name shall be saved in the kingdom of God. Wherefore, my soul delighteth to prophesy concerning him, for I have seen his day, and my heart doth magnify his holy name.
"My dear friends, we all have something in our lives that is broken that needs to be mended, fixed, or healed. As we turn to the Savior, as we align our hearts and minds with Him, as we repent, He comes to us “with healing in his wings,” puts His arms lovingly around us, and says, “It’s OK. You are only 5—or 16, 23, 48, 64, 91. We can fix this together!”
I testify that there is nothing in your life that is broken that is beyond the curative, redeeming, and enabling power of Jesus Christ..
Sister Amy A. Wright, Second Counselor in the Primary General Presidency
"He can heal broken relationships with God, broken relationships with others, and broken parts of ourselves."
