We walked at Rock Canyon Park yesterday. The weather was clear and sunny. This picture is the Provo Temple which will soon be demolished and rebuilt.
This is Rock Canyon as seen from the park.
The view of Mt.Timpanogos from the park speaks for itself.
One of the very attractive homes that back up to the park is this one. They always have a brief message posted on their back wall. This one, "Adieu Beloved Temple", speaks for itself and is obviously a reference to the soon to be demolished old Provo Temple.
We ate at the Smoked Taco in Saratoga Springs because the new Smoked Taco in Pleasant Grove is not quite open yet. Soon though and their tacos are just about the best there is.
Come Follow Me
2 Nephi 13:15 What mean ye? Ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor, saith the Lord God of Hosts.
"And there are still those, not a few, who without compassion “grind the faces of the poor.”...
I commend most warmly those who with a compelling spirit of kindness reach out to those in distress, regardless of whom they might be, to help and assist, to feed and provide for, to nurture and to bless. As these extend mercy, I am confident that the God of heaven will bless them, and their posterity after them, with His own mercy. I am satisfied that these who impart so generously will not lack in their own store, but that there will be food on their tables and a roof over their heads. One cannot be merciful to others without receiving a harvest of mercy in return."
President Gordon B. Hinkley First Counselor in the First Presidenc, April 1990
