022524, Sunday, Journal Entry

I served in the Bishops Storehouse yesterday morning. Cathy stayed home to keep her injured hand from getting re-injured. Looking at the ice cream freezer to the right you can see three racks that hold the half gallon packages of ice cream. On the right and the left you can see that the packages fit in rather snuggly and each rack holds eight packages of ice cream. But they fit so snuggly that they can be difficult to extract. It's hard to get ahold of them. In the middle we arranged the packages so that only six will fit but they are much easier to grasp and remove.

Cathy injured her hand last Tuesday when trying to remove a package of ice cream, her hand slipped off the package and banged against the top cover or loud off the freezer. She popped a vein in her right hand and it swelled up to the point that I had to take her to the hospital. She required no treatment except to protect the hand for a couple of weeks while it healed.

Hopefully by loading the ice cream in the new way, it will be easier and safer to remove from the freezer.

It was a good day at the Storehouse for many reasons.

Come Follow Me

2 Nephi 10: 1 And now I, Jacob, speak unto you again, my beloved brethren, concerning this righteous branch of which I have spoken. 2 For behold, the promises which we have obtained are promises unto us according to the flesh; wherefore, as it has been shown unto me that many of our children shall perish in the flesh because of unbelief, nevertheless, God will be merciful unto many; and our children shall be restored, that they may come to that which will give them the true knowledge of their Redeemer.
