Cathy injured her hand at the Bishops Storehouse yesterday. She wasn't sure how but her right hand was swelling quite dramatically and clearly bleeding internally. She was going to just let it go but I convinced her to let me take her home so she could ice it out just relax. As the swelling continued and the discoloration grew more dramatic we decided to take her to the emergency room at American Fork Hospital. 

I'm one of the managers at the Bishops Storehouse and the other one, Sister Haynie, had left early because she was Ill. So I knew I had to get back to the Storehouse to close up and lock up. And I need to be at the temple this morning for the 4:45 Coordinators meeting. So I said a quiet prayer and asked Heavenly Father to please have His angels help me out.

So bottom line, I went back to the Storehouse to close up. She texted me very soon and said the doctor had completed his examination, she had "popped a vein but the bleeding had stopped". She would have discoloration in her hand for a couple of weeks and then all would be fine.

After I closed up the Bishops Storehouse I picked her up at the hospital and we went home.

I went to the temple this morning and completed my Ordinance Worker assignment. Enjoyed it a lot. I'm currently assigned as the Dressing Room Coordinator. The most important duty there is to see that the New Names are properly and accurately handled. The Name Issue Booth and the Name Issue Witness are very important assignments and have to be handled properly.
