I couldn't play pickleball yesterday because the stake center was being set up for the stake women's conference. Hopefully a nice event for the sisters of the stake. So yesterday and today are pretty event free. We are scheduled to do sealings with friends this evening in the temple.
Hopefully I can get a few things done around the house today. We'll see.
Tomorrow is our Bishop's Storehouse Saturday assignment.
Come Follow Me
2 Nephi 10:22 For behold, the Lord God has led away from time to time from the house of Israel, according to his will and pleasure. And now behold, the Lord remembereth all them who have been broken off, wherefore he remembereth us also.
"[A]s members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or “latter-day covenant Israel,” we have been charged to assist the Lord with this pivotal work.
When we speak of gathering Israel on both sides of the veil, we are referring, of course, to missionary, temple, and family history work. We are also referring to building faith and testimony in the hearts of those with whom we live, work, and serve. Anytime we do anything that helps anyone—on either side of the veil—to make and keep their covenants with God, we are helping to gather Israel."
"Let God Prevail" By President Russell M. Nelson, October 2020
I feel pretty good about my weekly effort as an Ordinance Worker on Wednesday mornings plus our two days a week serving in the Bishops Storehouse. Cathy and I also usually get to the temple at least weekly as patrons. Tonight we are attending a Sealing session.
