Yesterday was quiet but the weather was good... Clear, sunny and 55 degrees. Went to church and later took a long walk. Got some good study time in as well.

Today all I have on my plate is medical labs to see how my medicines are affecting me. That should take about 15 minutes. Then household projects.

 2 Nephi 11: 4 Behold, my soul delighteth in proving unto my people the truth of the coming of Christ; for, for this end hath the law of Moses been given; and all things which have been given of God from the beginning of the world, unto man, are the typifying of him.

It's taken me awhile to realize that the real mission in this mortal life is to prepare myself to return to God. The concept of eternity can be difficult to grasp but when you think about it, eternity means there is no end. So think about where you will be and what you'll be doing in twenty or fifty or a hundred years and beyond. Because you will be doing something and you  will be somewhere. That makes it easier to understand what we should be doing right now in order to be where we want to be in the eternities.

2 Nephi 11:6 And my soul delighteth in proving unto my people that save Christ should come all men must perish. 7 For if there be no Christ there be no God; and if there be no God we are not, for there could have been no creation. But there is a God, and he is Christ, and he cometh in the fulness of his own time.
