030224, Saturday, Journal Entry

As I stepped out of our home yesterday morning, I was greeted with this amazing sunrise.

Looking east from our front yard we see Mt. Timpanogos on the left and Mt. Kyhv (pronounced like hive or kive - formally Squaw Peak) on the right.

I spent a large part of the day sorting our files and re-doing many of the folders. We have four files drawers and three of them were bursting at the seams. I got through one drawer but developed a system that should make doing the other two drawers go quickly.

Cathy is getting ready to have Jake and his family over for dinner on Sunday afternoon.

Come Follow Me

2 Nephi 15:20 Wo unto them that call evil good, and good evil, that put darkness for light, and light for darkness, that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

21 Wo unto the wise in their own eyes and prudent in their own sight!

"...[S]piritually dangerous ideas and actions frequently can appear to be attractive, desirable, or pleasurable. Thus, in our contemporary world, each of us needs to be aware of beguiling bad that pretends to be good.

Constant vigilance is required to counteract complacency and casualness."

Elder David A. Bednar Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, October 2019
