I'm still in pain but less than previously. I believe I'm gradually heading towards being pain - free but haven't got there yet.
Didn't do much again yesterday. We walked some at the Lindon city park near the civic center. It seems like a good thing to do.
Beth and Karen came over for dinner at Cathy's invitation. We enjoyed a nice visit.
Come Follow Me
Alma 13: 29 Having faith on the Lord; having a hope that ye shall receive eternal life; having the love of God always in your hearts, that ye may be lifted up at the last day and enter into his rest.
"Alma emphasized the importance of “having the love of God always in your hearts." Charity is that love. Charity is a gift of the Spirit, for “all things which are good cometh of God." And this gift is multiplied as it is used.
Both the giver and the receiver are blessed. For charity purifies and sanctifies all it touches, and “whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him."
The greatest acts of charity come from giving of yourself and receiving expressions of charity with humility as well."
Elaine L. Jack, Relief Society General President, October 1996
