Journal Entry

It's Sunday morning and my pain awakened me again at about 11:00 PM last night and I have not slept since then.it's now 0500 and I hope to get a little nap in before breakfast.
Yesterday, Jake came over and helped us again with the sprinkler system.
I got a little walking in.
Today I've arranged to have my first temple recommend interview on Face Time after church. Then I've been told that a member of the stake presidency will be willing to conduct their interview with me also on Face Time.

Come Follow Me

Alma 22: 17 And it came to pass that when Aaron had said these words, the king did bow down before the Lord, upon his knees; yea, even he did prostrate himself upon the earth, and cried mightily, saying:
18 O God, Aaron hath told me that there is a God; and if there is a God, and if thou art God, wilt thou make thyself known unto me, and I will give away all my sins to know thee, and that I may be raised from the dead, and be saved at the last day. And now when the king had said these words, he was struck as if he were dead.

"When you and I also enter that path, we have a new way of life. We thereby create a relationship with God that allows Him to bless and change us. The covenant path leads us back to Him. If we let God prevail in our lives, that covenant will lead us closer and closer to Him. All covenants are intended to be binding. They create a relationship with everlasting ties.

Once we make a covenant with God, we leave neutral ground forever. God will not abandon His relationship with those who have forged such a bond with Him. In fact, all those who have made a covenant with God have access to a special kind of love and mercy. In the Hebrew language, that covenantal love is called hese's."
President Russell M Nelson, October 2022
