Journal Entry 

Another day of pain and recovery. It feels like my body is gradually healing but the emphasis needs to be on gradually. I still need pain meds in order to get through the day in some degree of comfort and I still have a hard time sleeping for more than five hours because of pain 

Art Sandgren came over yesterday and he and Cathy and I enjoyed a nice visit.

Alma 15:18 Now as I said, Alma having seen all these things, therefore he took Amulek and came over to the land of Zarahemla, and took him to his own house, and did administer unto him in his tribulations, and strengthened him in the Lord.

"My fellow disciples of Christ, let us not underestimate the marvelous work the Lord is doing through us, His Church, despite our shortcomings. Sometimes we are givers and sometimes we are receivers, but we are all one family in Christ. His Church is the structure He has given to guide and bless us as we worship Him and serve each other.

"The Church is more than the buildings and the ecclesiastical structure; the Church is us, the members, with Christ at the head and the prophet as His mouthpiece."
