Where to start???

We drove from Lindon to Scottsdale yesterday and pretty much enjoyed the drive. But our hotel is a disastet. The ironing board is very dirty. There is a very complicated wifi access that might end up costing $10 a day. There are very few electrical outlets and no USB outlets off any kind. The TV remote doesn't work unless you sit right in front of the TV press than 5' distant. It's not anything like being at home.

I think Cathy is sorry she pushed for this. The last time we were here the room was also very poor but they moved us into a nice third floor suite that was much better. I doubt they will do that this time but we'll see. On top of all that, I bought stuff to make it easier for us to charge our phones and ipads and watches but one of the main components doesn't work so I have to get that fixed today. Maybe you can tell I'm not a happy dude this morning.

Come Follow Me

3 Nephi 17:11-25

11 And it came to pass that he commanded that their little children should be brought.

12 So they brought their little children and set them down upon the ground round about him, and Jesus stood in the midst; and the multitude gave way till they had all been brought unto him.

"It is our sacred responsibility as parents and leaders of this rising generation of children to bring them to the Savior so that they might see His face and the face of our Father in Heaven as well. As we do so, we also bring ourselves. Again the question, how do we do this, especially in a world that is full of distractions? In 3 Nephi, the parents loved the Lord. They were believers. They had faith in the miracles Jesus performed. They loved their children. They gathered them to hear the words of the Lord and obeyed His commandment to bring the children to Him."
