3-2023 September 17, Journal Entry

We served in the Bishops Storehouse yesterday morning (Saturday) then worked on our front garden for awhile. I watched the BYU v Arkansas football game and when Arkansas got two quick TDs to start the game I thought it they score another quickly I'll go to bed and find out the bad news tomorrow. But BYU ended up scoring the next three touchdowns and went on to win 38-31, and looked pretty good doing it. So now I'm tired but it was fun.

2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

There is sorrow and then there is Godly sorrow. Godly sorrow is sorrow that leads to repentance and improvement and a brighter future closer to God.
