Journal
Yesterday morning (Saturday) we participated again in the 0630 Endowment Session. That didn't give me much time to write in my journal because we decided to drive to Kamas for breakfast at the Mirror Lake Diner. Always good. Then Jake and his family came over and sorrento the early afternoon with us and Cathy couldn't not make quesadillas for them and this were delicious.
After a bit of a rest we decided to go up to Vivian Park and get in a late afternoon walk. It was cool but we were ready and got a real good walk in. I think we both ended up the day with over 10,000 steps.
The photo catches the sun setting in Vivian Park. It was a beautiful afternoon.
Today I'm trying to catch up with Journal entries and after church we can hopefully walk again. We'll see.
It looks like we are going to be going to Florida next month for that surgical procedure that Cathy needs. Things seem to be falling into place for that.
I'm going to try right now to schedule a tithing declaration interview. Done! 1015 next Sunday
Come Follow Me
3 Nephi 26:14 And it came to pass that he did teach and minister unto the children of the multitude of whom hath been spoken, and he did loose their tongues, and they did speak unto their fathers great and marvelous things, even greater than he had revealed unto the people; and he loosed their tongues that they could utter.
"It’s significant to me that...the Savior gave the most sacred teachings only to the children, then loosed their tongues so they could teach the multitude.
"Is it any wonder that following the Savior’s visit to the Nephites, they lived in peace and righteousness for two hundred years? Because of miraculous instructions, blessings, and attention they and their children received, righteousness was perpetuated by their children’s children for many generations.
"Let us not underestimate the capacity and potential power of today’s children to perpetuate righteousness. No group of people in the Church is as receptive to the truth, both in efficiency of learning and with the greatest degree of retention."
