110224, Saturday

Daily Vitals: Weight: 225.0, GMI: 7.0, Steps (previous day) 8,317

Journal Entry

It's Saturday morning and that means we are going together to the temple for our weekly 0630 Endowment Session. Starting next week we will go to Saratoga Springs because our temple will be closed for maintenance until after Thanksgiving. We are truly blessed with a multitude of temples to choose from but both the Provo City Center and the Orem temples are completely booked. That's a good thing of course but soon the Lindon Temple will be done and then the new Lehi temple will be built and the Provo Rock Canyon Temple is already under construction. All of these are within a half hour drive for us.

We walked at the Orem FFC yesterday. Not sure what we'll do today but something I hope.

Come Follow Me

Mormon 5:10 And now behold, this I speak unto their seed, and also to the Gentiles who have care for the house of Israel, that realize and know from whence their blessings come.

11 For I know that such will sorrow for the calamity of the house of Israel; yea, they will sorrow for the destruction of this people; they will sorrow that this people had not repented that they might have been clasped in the arms of Jesus.

"Too many people consider repentance as punishment—something to be avoided except in the most serious circumstances. But this feeling of being penalized is engendered by Satan. He tries to block us from looking to Jesus Christ, who stands with open arms, hoping and willing to heal, forgive, cleanse, strengthen, purify, and sanctify us.

"Make your focus on daily repentance so integral to your life that you can exercise the priesthood with greater power than ever before."

President Russell M. Nelson, April 2019
