Journal
I served in the temple yesterday and then Cathy and I walked in Provo Canyon in the afternoon. The photo at right isn't nearly as spectacular as the actual view. I'm going to have to try to adjust my photographic capabilities to see if I can improve some of the images we see.We will be serving at the Bishops Storehouse this afternoon. That assignment has taught me more about loving my fellow men and women and to be non judgemental than anything I have done before. It's a great assignment and I love being a part of it.
Come Follow Me
3 Nephi 27:25 For behold, out of the books which have been written, and which shall be written, shall this people be judged, for by them shall their works be known unto men.
26 And behold, all things are written by the Father; therefore out of the books which shall be written shall the world be judged.
27 And know ye that ye shall be judges of this people, according to the judgment which I shall give unto you, which shall be just. Therefore, what manner of men ought ye to be? Verily I say unto you, even as I am.
"In His mortal life, Jesus Christ was a loving judge, uncommonly wise and patient. He is known in the scriptures as “the righteous judge”, and His counsel to us is to also “judge righteous judgment” and to “put your trust in that Spirit which leadeth to do good … [and] to judge righteously"".
This counsel to the Nephite Twelve will help us judge as the Lord does...We sometimes forget that when He gave the counsel to be as He is, it was in the context of how to judge righteously."
Elder Lynn G. Robbins Of the Presidency of the Seventy, October 2016
