Journal
We got a very nice walk in yesterday afternoon. It's beautiful up in Provo Canyon this time of year as you can see from the photo.
Mondays are usually very restful. I noticed on my calendar that I had an appointment scheduled to see Dr. West for a dermatology review but I hadn't received any communication from his office. I checked my Intermountain Medical app and saw that I had seen him almost exactly 6 months ago and the notes of that visit indicated he wanted to seem in six mither. So, since I had it on my calendar and he isn't very far I decided to go in. When I got there they had no record of my appointment which was on my calendar for 0810. But they had an appointment at 0810 for somebody else who had canceled so I got to see him anyway. He looked at me and determined that I had no obvious skin cancer symptoms but zapped (froze) a couple of spots on my face and suggested I see him again in 9 months instead of 6. So we scheduled that then Cathy and I went to breakfast at Aubergine Kitchen in American Fork.
Come Follow Me
3 Nephi 27: 19 And no unclean thing can enter into his kingdom; therefore nothing entereth into his rest save it be those who have washed their garments in my blood, because of their faith, and the repentance of all their sins, and their faithfulness unto the end.
"One afternoon...my two older brothers and I decided to dig a hole...
"...we filled it up with water...[and] I was persuaded to jump in...I was really dirty.
"...I crossed the street, intending to walk into my house. My grandmother...refused to let me in...
"...I [stood] in the backyard while my grandmother sprayed me off with a hose. [Eventually], my grandmother pronounced me clean and let me come into the house. It was warm in the house, and I...put on dry, clean clothes.
"...[B]eing sprayed off by my grandmother was unpleasant and uncomfortable. Being denied the opportunity to return and be with our Father in Heaven because we chose to remain in or dirtied by a mud hole of sin would be eternally tragic. We should not deceive ourselves about what it takes to return and remain in the presence of our Father in Heaven. We have to be clean."
