2023 October 2, Journal Entry

We watched all five sessions of General Conference. Might have slept a little. Yesterday afternoon we took a drive up American Fork Canyon and apparently most of Utah decided to do the same thing. Very crowded. Did a neighborhood walk and managed to reach my 7500 steps goal.

President Nelson gave another great talk and announced another twenty temples. He was unable to be at the conference center due to a recent back injury but recorded his talk while seated at what looked like his normal place in the conference center. Good talk. Emphasized "Think Celestial" all the time every day. I will review it soon and often. He looks pretty frail and might not last too much longer. President Oaks looked pretty good. He's next up as the senior Apostle and he's only 91 years old. We'll see. Ultimately the Lord is in charge and the church seems to be growing well.
