I think I've written before that I have a daily steroids goal (walking) of 7500 per day. I've been reading articles that cause me to believe that 10,000 would be a better goal and that I should do things other than take a long walk every day. Like park farther away when going somewhere. That's a little more difficult when I have Cathy with me and the weather is not cooperating but I think I can do better. I also had sort of given up on getting steps in on days like Sunday or days when I work at the temple or the Bishops Storehouse. I think I can do better on those days.
My average steps for the last seven days is 7104. I'd like to bring that up to at least 8000 to start. I'll keep posting.
What really helps is my applewatch and my apple health app. Amazing tech.
Come Follow Me
2 Nephi 1:23 Awake, my sons; put on the armor of righteousness. Shake off the chains with which ye are bound, and come forth out of obscurity, and arise from the dust.
"I testify that the cleansing power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and the transformative power of the Holy Ghost can heal and rescue mankind. It is our privilege, our sacred duty, and our joy to heed the Savior’s call to follow Him with a willing mind and full purpose of heart. Let us “shake off the chains with which [we] are bound, and come forth out of obscurity, and arise from the dust.”
Let us be awake and not be weary of well-doing, for we “are laying the foundation of a great work,” even preparing for the return of the Savior."

“Shake Off the Chains with Which Ye Are Bound”
By Elder Marvin J. Ashton Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, October 1986
GREAT talk!
Shaking off the chains of caffeine addiction that I suffer from is what I'm going to do. I've tried it before and failed but I'm going to give it another go. I will keep you informed.
