Vitals: Weight 219.8, GMI 7.3, Pain 2

Journal Entry: We went to Sacrament meeting yesterday but it was difficult sitting for the entire time frame. Nevertheless I think we can do it in the future. Today should be less hot outside but if we're going to walk outdoors we'll have to do it early. I think we are going to try to schedule some temple ordinances for this week.

Cathy has ongoing back pain that has become more severe lately. I'm hoping we can get her an appointment with Dr. Kimball soon. 

There's not much to Journal about since my surgery.

Book of Mormon review (review of earlier Come Follow Me assignments): Alma 5

Alma 30:22 And it came to pass that the high priest said unto him: Why do ye go about perverting the ways of the Lord? Why do ye teach this people that there shall be no Christ, to interrupt their rejoicings? Why do ye speak against all the prophecies of the holy prophets?

"As we diligently focus on the Savior and then follow His pattern of focusing on joy, we need to avoid those things that can interrupt our joy. Remember Korihor, the anti-Christ? Spewing falsehoods about the Savior, Korihor went from place to place until he was brought before a high priest who asked him: “Why do ye go about perverting the ways of the Lord? Why do ye teach this people that there shall be no Christ, to interrupt their rejoicings?” Anything that opposes Christ or His doctrine will interrupt our joy. That includes the philosophies of men, so abundant online and in the blogosphere, which do exactly what Korihor did. If we look to the world and follow its formulas for happiness, we will never know joy."
