My meeting with Dr. Kimball was somewhat disturbing in that the MRI and other testing indicated there were problems with my spinal surgery. He ordered a CT scan for later yesterday and it revealed that additional surgery is probably warranted. He called me yesterday evening and we agreed that I would submit to additional surgery this coming Thursday. We are not sure exactly what will be done but Dr. Kimball will review the CT Scan and MRI more closely and we'll talk again on Monday.
Also, Cathy received word that she now has full-blown Osteoporosis which is a very serious situation. So we have that to deal with as well.
So I'm back on medical leave from the temple for now and probably will be limited in my Bishops Storehouse cities as well. We'll just have to see.
This morning we walked up at Bridal Veil Falls and discovered that walking on the car path on the north side of the river is much less crowded and the roadway surface is of higher quality and walking there was just much more enjoyable. Most people and bikes travel on the south side bike/pedestrian path. The surface is terrible and it's really crowded and dangerous. Plus, as you can see from the included photo, the view of the falls is very good from the north side.Book of Mormon review (review of earlier Come Follow Me assignments): An account of the sons of Mosiah, who rejected their rights to the kingdom for the word of God, and went up to the land of Nephi to preach to the Lamanites; their sufferings and deliverance—according to the record of Alma.
